What is Fit & Fierce?

 Fit & Fierce is an  8 week training program ending in an annual all female competition that tests agility, strength and speed over 5 events in Kamloops.
Training starts on September 3 and is open to all women who want to challenge themselves to unleash their inner warrior woman with two different ways to compete and fantastic prize packages to be won!
Build your strength, agility, endurance and power in an uplifting environment where women support one another!

Exercise, Education & Empowerment

Training will take place at Fit By Design on Macarthur Island from September 3 for 8 weeks. All scheduled classes are included. If you have an existing monthly membership with Fit By Design, you are automatically able to train for the events but if you choose to compete there is a competition entrance fee.

Fit & Fierce competition (Oct 26, 2019)

Fit & Fierce Events
  1. Run/Obstacle
    This event tests yours speed an agility over a 2km course. 
  2. 25 Burpee Step Jumps
    You will be required to do 25 full burpees along with 25 alternating jumps on a 16" box/step
  3. Tire flips 
    Complete 8 flips (ultra) or flip as for as many reps as possible in 30 seconds (original). Tire is approximately 270lbs.
  4. Push to Press w/40 lb barbell 15 reps
    You are required to complete 15 reps of a push to press in a split leg stance.
  5. Hand over hand 80 lb bag pull
    In a seated position you will pull 80 lbs, hand over hand for 12 meters. 
Fit & Fierce events take place separately, one after the other with a break in between. The best combined event score will win. Event in the ultra is a timed continual event The fastest to complete all events will win. After you register you will be contacted to choose which event you would like to take part in. 

The event is capped at 40 participants with a grand prize winner in each category. Each participant receives a goody bag.
There are 12 spaces for the ULTRA and 28 spaces for the original. You will be contacted in order of registration to confirm whether you will be taking part in the ultra, or original. 

What's the difference between the original and ultra?
- The original will host each event with a break in between.
- The Ultra is timed for completion. You start your first event and keep going until you have finished. The fastest wins!
