The summer session for Sabrina's mommy boot camp was awesome! I loved going to all the different parks here in Kamloops and of course my son loved playing on all the different playgrounds! Summer went by way to fast! It was so good to get out in the morning and work out with all the mommies! My son and I loved sports day, she had us adults doing the crab walk, potato sack racing, relays and more! I haven't done that since elementary school! I tell you my muscles were hurting the next day!
After boot camp Sabrina brought in a climbing wall and my son climbed it with no problem! It was amazing! He just walked up, they put on the climbing gear and away he went (it was the easiest wall but he is only 2.5! I haven't even gone rock climbing! I was so proud of him! I would never have thought to take him rock climbing?)
Now that I am back to work, I tell you, I sit and stare out the window and think about working out with all the mommies and about Sabrina's fun workouts. This week has been hard for me to get out on my own, between the changes for me and the kids, plus getting my motivation going to get out and work out has been hard. At least next week I know I will have to be at class Tuesday and Thursday's at 5pm! Sabrina can tell me what to do, as opposed to me telling me what to do!
I recently did my first 5K trail run with Sabrina! I could not believe I did it!! I felt like I conquered Mount Everest! (well to me I will call it Mount Kenna!!) There were a couple bruises and scrapes, but I am proud to say I DID IT! I am planning on doing Run for the Cure on Oct 2nd! Back in January I would never have in my life thought I would even consider jogging and now I look forward to it!
I have reached the 73 pounds lost mark and the last time we checked my inches I was at 36 inches lost! It's been an amazing journey so far and I am defiantly looking forward to starting bootc amp again because me as my own instructor is not going well (I am about to fire me lol!)
