Well Kenna is a HUGE mountain! I have never trail jogged before, I have only stuck to jogging on cement or in town jogging I guess, and never in my life have I hiked a mountain! So I just go and skip hiking....... no I jog the mountain! I have not panted that badly since the beginning of my weight-loss journey back in January! I seriously thought I was going to DIE!
As I was jogging up this BIG mountain I thought "man I feel like I am on Biggest Loser!" I had Sabrina there coaching me, giving me positive thoughts, encouragment and of course helping me up from falls (yes falls!) and dusting me off (ok I'll be realistic cleaning up my wounds from my falls LOL!)
But when I finished that jog I honestly felt like I was on top of the world and every sore muscle, every sore scratch was worth it! I won't be going on the run this weekend although I will go up a couple times, maybe try hiking it so I can get the footing right. The jog that I will be attending will be 5K Run for the Cure! Oct 2nd cant wait!!! I will be with the Fit By Design ladies!
