We are now going into the 5th week of the Warrior Women Challenge. Time certainly flies. It was another amazing fall week. How lucky we are to be outdoors doing all of this activity with great women. It was such a busy hectic week that I completely forgot about doing my Sunday blog! Thanks for the reminder, Christina.
My week had its ups and downs. I had to fight through the week with an injury but I did my very best. I loved the adventure boot camp which had us running all over town and doing different challenges along the way. On the down side I found out that I certainly am not, nor have I ever been a gymnast. I had people coming to check on me in the foam pit as I was having an anxiety attack. What a workout propelling yourself through that foam. I always have had the desire to jump in the pit as my grade one class is flying through. I certainly am glad I did not. There are some amazingly talented women that were cartwheeling and doing round offs at our gymnastics night. They were very impressive..... inspiring to say the least.
The next session of this bootcamp is ready for me to sign up and I am so glad to be able to continue on. I have seen a change in my shape and body composition. Although I have not seen a change in weight, I will no longer be going to Weight Watchers. It is important for me to let go of the scale. This too shall come. I am on the road to a stronger and healthier me and I have to believe that the weight has to follow! Out goes the scale!
I am already thinking ahead to this upcoming Thanksgiving weekend and the houseful of company I am having for dinner. I will have to kill it this week with exercise. Free weights Monday and then FEM SPORT workout on Wed and lots in between. Portion control will be important and picking some healthier choices.
My goals for the week..... I have to become better at journalling about everything. My feelings, success, failures and I need to be much better at journalling my food for the week. I also have to get more sleep at night. Goodnight!
